Lecture no. 11 from the course: How the Stock Market Works

The Language of Financial Reporting

Taught by Professor Ramon P. DeGennaro | 30 min | Categories: The Great Courses Plus Online Economics & Finance Courses

Dispel the mystery surrounding financial reporting by analyzing three important documents: the corporate balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. You can think of these as analogous to your personal mortgage application, tax return, and checking account statement.

This must be the worst stock market course ever. Every single lesson the professor starts with a weird story. most of his stories are directed toward discouraging people about the stock market. I wished he spent more time teaching rather than telling stupid stories. For instance, in lesson 11, he starts off with another story. Of the 30 minutes in every course, there is no time for stories, he should have spent his time focussing on teaching more of the concepts. What a waste of time so far!!!!
