Lecture no. 4 from the course: How to Become a SuperStar Student

Managing Time and Organizing Spaces

Taught by Professor Michael Geisen | 31 min | Categories: The Great Courses Plus Online Professional Development Courses

By navigating their busy lives more effectively, students can free up more time and space for true learning—and things they really like to do. First, students will bust the myth that multitasking actually works. Then, they’ll develop strategies for planning and prioritizing activities. Finally, they’ll learn some secrets to keeping themselves—and their work—organized.

Despite acknowledging in the beginning that folks of all ages may be watching and using this info, the lectures are very heavily geared towards high school students. In college, classes function differently often with some of them being online. It's a little frustrating, because I want to be able to use what I'm learning. Now, to be clear, it's not entirely inapplicable. There's a lot of good info, but it's all in the context of middle school/high school. I'd venture to say the majority of users of this site are not in that age group.
