Forged in the Stars

Taught by Professor Neil deGrasse Tyson | 31 min | Categories: The Great Courses Plus Online Science Course

The origin of the elements that make up life is one of the most important discoveries in any field in the 20th century, yet underappreciated by the public because it happened over many decades. This lecture presents a step-by-step explanation of the long path to a Nobel Prize-winning idea.

This course, as well as his other one, is by far one of the best on Great Courses. Thank you so much for adding this to the Plus membership. Professor Tyson is such a remarkable teacher. If you love this course as much as I do I recommend reading his book Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. It's a short read, but it makes you really fall in love with science and the origins of our existence.
