There are some significant lacks in this course, which I suspect are due to the professor assuming he is talking to people who are Christians or at least grew up in a Christian-majority country like the U.S. He says almost nothing about what Jesus actually taught and even implies that for Christians, this is not as important as the idea of the resurrection. He doesn't explore why or how Paul and other early Christian writers came to the conclusion that Jesus was God, how the Gospels came to be written, why certain books were included and others not. He could have said something about sects like the Mormons and 7th Day Adventists too. Overall, I didn't feel this course added greatly to my understanding.
