i am a former orthodox jew, and have studied the religion very thoroughly, the professor did not know Judaism well, he got most of the things wrong, not that it really matters. i watched 5 lectures and I am truly amazed by the fact that people really look into religion and study it for so long and yet still don't see how ridicules it is. i don't mean to be rude but it seems that the christian religion took a long time to form, and the religion that is called Christianity today is only here because of a kind of evolutionary process in which the strong and most popular religion survives. does that really mean that the form of Christianity which is dominant today is the right one? and how is that different from all other religions which succeeded in getting a large amount of believers, like Islam, Hinduism and even polytheistic religions which were very popular before monotheistic beliefs? i can write forever about the fallacies in these lectures.
