I have taken numerous courses from The Great Courses on nuclear physics and quantum mechanics. This course also explains some of those principles but I think that the greatest value of this course is that it covers aspects that have not been discussed in the previous courses; namely, however nuclear physics is used in our day-to-day lives.

This was an interesting course, and covers the subject well. My only complaint was that at times it jumped too fast ... it was difficult to see the connections from one step to the next.
