Terrific! Please continue these lessons. In response to the person who thinks the instructor should not talk, please consider the following: Years ago, I learned Spanish from a course called "Destinos". The first several lessons were narrated in English, but after the student learned some basic Spanish words, the remaining lessons were narrated in Spanish. The remaining lessons were learned by watching a story acted out, and the student could figure out the meaning based on the context of the actions. If the instructor in this course were to NOT speak, it would be much more difficult for hearing people to learn, unless many actors were to present ASL used in the context of a dramatic presentation of a real-life situation. Also, I felt that the explanation of the hand shape, direction, location, and movement made a LOT of sense. For a hearing person, whose visual perception is not so refined, that information was very valuable.

Please continue. This was great. I am hearing impaired and am losing it quickly but all the ASL classes I have tired to do are too far away. I know Deaf culture is a large portion of these classes but I feel this would be a great way to instruct.
