Very interesting and informative video. There are a lot of anecdotes and explanation of fiction vs reality that as a whole may give some general idea what the piracy was and why pirates decided to have that style of life. On the downside the lecturer was speaking way too fast (especially for a non native speaker) and was jumping from topic to topic without much organisation. Also, the focus was mainly about piracy in 18th century with only slight mention of piracy in ancient world and no mention of contemporary piracy at all.
