Very enjoyable course full of interesting detail and presented by a humble down to earth professor. I found myself looking forward to each new lecture with anticipation of enjoyment. Most of the instructors here are energetic and knowledgeable. As others have noted what really sets this presentation apart Is her willingness to say we aren’t quite sure” “we’re still learning” “scholars are still studying this” etc. Another notable feature is the use of DNA studies to challenge traditional interpretations from texts archeology linguistics and oral traditions. Professor Paxton’s engaged easy going presentation is inviting and fun. Worth a look.
