Fantastic course! But there's one caveat: The strengths of this course are more about understanding the basic biologic principles of non-verbal communication than about practically applying this knowledge. In this regard it does an excellent job and is highly recommended.

I was hoping to walk away from the course with some strategies to incorporate into my daily life for either understanding or transmitting non-verbal communication better. I don't think that happened. The lecturer is engaging enough, but I feel like the course mostly rehashed stuff that I already knew, and I'm definitely not the most non-verbal-communication-aware person out there. I will say, it is interesting to hear about some of the various studies that the lecturer talks about, but mostly it boils down to "yes humans can recognize X better than chance", sometimes by a lot, sometimes not by a ton.
