I'd never heard Tyson lecture before, but after watching these lectures (which were far too few), I sought out his My Favorite Universe lectures in The Great Courses, as well. Thoughtful, funny, relaxed, intelligent, opinionated in a respectful manner...what a guy. His presentation reminded me of the way my father, my sister and I used to sit around the supper table talking about the mysteries and possibilities of life and the universe. Easily one of the best, if not the best, lecturer TGC has offered.
