Lecture no. 24 from the course: Understanding the Mysteries of Human Behavior

A Few Mysteries We Can’t Explain Yet

Taught by Professor Mark Leary | 32 min | Categories: The Great Courses Plus Online Science Course

Close out the course with a look at a few other behavioral mysteries that remain difficult for scientists to explain—all of which are so common to everyday life that they probably don’t seem mysterious at all: laughter, kissing, the creation and enjoyment of art, and consciousness.

Very clear teaching, which is at a level of introductory Psychology. The course is taught as a Frequently Asked Questions on Psychology. Some of it is interesting. A bit is even useful. Pretty light-going stuff, and a decent way to get an intro to Psych. If you haven't ever studied Psychology, you'll probably enjoy this course. If you have studied it, just watch the lectures that interest you.
