Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Course This is a course on an older version of PS. It provides a wealth of knowledge regardless of the version you are using. Because it is older, I gave it only 4 stars. I hadn't used PS in several years and this brought me backup to speed so that I could hit the ground running.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Software version A little disappointed that the version of photoshop used by the instructor is 2015 and I downloaded it this year (2022).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have just started into this program of study. I am a very experienced photographer, but have been using Adobe Lightroom Classic for years and decided that I needed to know Photoshop. After about two hours of study, I am disappointed with both the course as it is badly out of date, and the instructor needs to learn a good deal more about what he is teaching. His understanding of what the sliders in Camera Raw do and what a photographer should be looking for appears to be lacking to the point that I don't know whether it will be worth my time to continue on with the course. I will admit that at this point I may be expecting too much as he may be trying to dumb it down for new photographers, but it does not look like the case. I will continue on and perhaps move ahead and see if he meets my expectations, however, either way, The Great Courses sold this out of date discussion of Photoshop and that has me very concerned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Worth the price and time This course paid for itself the first lesson. I've finished the first five so far, and have learned so much that will be helpful for me even though I'm an amateur photographer. I look forward to the rest of the lessons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Helpful I purchased Adobe Photoshop CC: The Complete Guide, to help me process my Astrophotography Images. I found the course very helpful in understanding the principles of Photoshop. I learned how to use most of the menus, shortcuts, layering and masking my photos to bring out the hidden beauty of my Astrophotography Images. It was worth the purchase price to help me enhance my hobby with the extra knowledge of photo processing. I highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to learn the intricacies of the great product, PHOTOSHOP.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Challenging Course A very good course but I found it difficult. Probably more to do with me than the course. Good for aspiring advanced experts. But I need something boiled down and less complete but easier to get to grips with. At least for starters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very helpful course This course helped me move from a rudimentary Photoshop ability level to having a confident command of the software. Though Photoshop has undergone several years of updates since this was released, all the core ideas and techniques are still relevant. I don't know if this course would appeal to someone who is asking themselves "would I like Photoshop?", but as someone who decided to learn it, I found all the tools to be here. Download the sample images and follow along.
