Going to the Devil: The Impeachment of 1868

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eye Opening I am a history buff, but I did not know the details of who Andrew Johnson was. His dependence on emotion and his exclusion of reason in decision making are uncannily similar to Trump. I wish our society was better at learning from history.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wish there were more! I enjoyed the way the course was laid out. I was continuously interested because it was not a typical boring course with a professor standing and talking. There were visuals to add which made it fun! I wish there were more than just this one lecture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In depth presentation of a significant event I was very impressed by this film about the impeachment trial of President Andrew Johnson. I until now never had the chance to pursue an indepth exploration of this President and how his time in office lead to impeachment, my previous exposure having been a mere footnote in high school US history class. It is a film I will watch many times and will have as a life long reference to intellectually digest with parallels to draw to present times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! This is the best of the best, from beginning to end, the best documentary and educational presentation I ever enjoyed. I keep returning and browsing hoping to find more of these, I do enjoy the others, but of all that you have to offer... this version, in my opinion was the best and my most favorite of all others combined. Thank you and please do create more like this one, it was such a pleasant, entertaining and enjoyable learning experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Most of this was new to me My knowledge of American history after Lincoln's death was very sketchy. I learned so much about the time period and the men who were part of the power structure of America.
