Wonderful series!
There is no better way to experience the world from your couch than by watching "Travels with Darley". I love that Darley interviews local people, as they always offer a unique perspective on the places they call home. Such beautiful locations and amazing food, too! I am always hungry after every episode. The shows are light and fun, but also educational -- the perfect combination.

In each episode Darcy walks through an area with a local: so content wise what you see is what you get. There could be much more information, for example historical (many missed opportunities to do so) in a little depth. For example re Lake Superior: mention the Song of Hiawatha, show the natural beauty of the area, describe the theory of the lake’s waves that sunk the Edmund Fitzgerald. Some locations needed a map of the greater area.
In each, Darcy spends a lot of time eating the local food and drinking craft brews. (Always mmm good.) Since I could not taste any of it, it meant little to me.

interesting with quite comprehensive travel coverage in such short episodes. although I cannot help wondering why Darley has such a nice, slender figure given on a global scale the amount of food, drink
and high living that she takes advantage of .
