It is good to view this summary on medical and academic standpoint about now-famous virus took so many lives for 2 straight years. Hopefully, we'd see a good Outbreak science course here in Wondrium.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid summary of what was known in 2020 It would be a great addition to tie this into an extension of the "anatomy and physiology" and the "biochem and molecular biology" courses. There are a lot of moving parts to examine, for example, the range of bodily responses and outcomes, how comorbidities work. Distill the body down to the relevant systems, especially vital ones, with some meters like blood pressure and oxygen saturation, what's on a crash cart and whatever else is relevant for a thought experiment. Then follow the course of infection from mild to intubation, and the odd outcomes like clotting, myocarditis, covid toes, and long covid syndromes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An Improvement This video is certainly an improvement over Wondrium's previous COVID video, but still contains errors, especially those concerning the outbreak's origin. It was not in a fish market in Wuhan, but rather in a virology lab in that city. Unfortunately, the gain-of-function research done in that lab was partially funded by the United States NIH. It's high time that responsibility for this outbreak is placed where it belongs. A second criticism of this video involves the technical terminology used, which is far beyond the vocabulary of most individuals. Don't have a solution for this problem, which could cause viewers to 'glaze over.'

Probably needs an upgrade to include latest info and results of control measures.
