This course is generally good, but it suffers from the consistent, unnecessary and tangential grafting of Christian philosophy on top of a basic understanding of Shakespeare's works.

Outstanding professor, the best I have seen on Great Courses. Every instructor on GC knows their topic, the differentiator is some can make things stick, using their preparation and passion for the subject to connect with the student. This professor is so well prepared, so passionate, he inspires a desire for learning.
